Dr. Yao was born and raised in China, and moved to the States at age of 15. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering at UCLA and her Doctor of Dental Surgeon (D.D.S.) degree at University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Yao truly believes in that dentistry doesn’t have to be painful. When you might think that’s what every dentist tells you, she gives out her 100% to make sure you feel as little pain as possible not only during the numbing, also throughout the procedure.
Dr. Yao practices dentistry with the goal of providing the highest standard of care to her patients with a reasonable price. She spends a lot of time attending courses in different area every year to refine her clinical skills and to keep up with the most current dental technology.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, her dog Dumbo and four cats.
